For Guns n Roses 3, I combined an assortment of both vintage and new vintage-style elements, all in silvers and grays and created this fabulous one of a kind design.  I hand wired together vintage Bali-style beads, silver-toned beads, large silver-plated open links and silver and black rose beads for the chain.  To that I added a large deconstructed vintage filigree hoop earring to which I wired two additional rose beads (one attached as a dangle hanging from a black enamel connector harvested from another vintage earring) and the toy gun.  The gun itself is a tiny revolver that once was a working cap gun - the wheel/barrel/cylinder is hinged and still functioning so you can see where the powder/bullet would have gone but the trigger is frozen in the cocked position.

The innermost strand of the necklace is adjustable to 20 inches in length and the longest vertical drop when connected at the last link measures 13 inches to the tip of the gun.  To give you some idea of the size of the components, the gun measures 3 inches across, measured at its widest points and the earring “bib” measures approximately 2.75 inches in width.

This necklace is made from vintage components that have been pre-loved so as with all vintage items, some evidence of wear is to be expected. it is, however, in excellent vintage condition for items that are sixty or so years of age!
